Wow, rafting was a lot of fun. I was great. Our boat didn't flip but we lost our "captain" twice, oops. We pulled her back in though before we went down the rapid.  More on that later. I have a ton of work to do.

So, today was Thursday. I have a project due next week. In the words of Brian Regan " I think the worst day was when the science projects were due, when you'd wake up your head'd pop off your pillow, "oh no, it's due today, I had 9 months to work on it and I did nothing." I had a cardboard box, a boxen"  Well  I have an English project due but that about sums it up.

Well rafting is this weekend, maybe I'll get thrown out ! This summer when we went rafting our Kiwi (that's what they call guides from New Zeland) decide to issue us (meaning me because I'm the only one stupid enough to try) a challenge. He told me to stand on the front of the raft and see how long I could go. I made it standing on the front of the raft (not holding on) for about 15 seconds but then we hit a bump, he shot me in the back with this huge squirtgun and I fell back into the boat. I was in the front so I was already soaked but it was still cold. The water temperature was around 5ish in the middle of Aguust! It was freezing. I asked the guide how to right the raft after it flips and if we could try it and we did. After we reached our destination we took all of our gear out and paddled out to the middle of the river (only my sister and dad went with us) and we fliped the raft. It is definitly the coldest water I have felt in the middle of summer. Then we righted it and tried to flip it the other way head over heels. This really only works with kayaks (cartwheeling) but we made it work. It  was funa and hopefully this trip will be just a fun.

stuff

Well high school is a lot different, and bigger. All of my classes are fairly easy at least (I'm sure they're going to get a lot harder).

Battalion started last night and I'm a non-com ! It's a little weird but it's fun.
